Kanoo has a strong belief in giving back to the community and has been always generous towards several initiatives that encourage social work, environmental awareness and preservation. As a part of our HSE policy, The Kanoo Group takes recycling and other environmental responsibilities seriously.

We have managed to implement the re-use of old stationery items (i.e. envelopes & papers) group wide and encourage our staff to adopt these practices at home. We have managed as well to recycle old engine oil through our workshop in Al Quoz among other successful environmental awareness programs initiated and implemented in all business areas of the group.

The Kanoo Group is a corporate member in the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) a voluntary, non-profit, non-government organization (NGO) devoted to protecting our environment through the means of education, action programs and community involvement. The Kanoo Group Supports EEG’s activities and initiatives to increase the environmental awareness in the UAE including its recycling, cleaning, education and publications projects. We look forward to increase our involvement on both the corporate level and the staff level in the efforts and initiatives of EEG
